Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and coordinate patient assessment and education. Manage triage, health maintenance, and follow-up across the continuum of care while adhering to state licensure and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards within the assigned clinical setting at Bemidji Medical Center. Work rotating 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours weekly with a 14-week contract option. Live at least 60 miles from the location.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require pre-employment background screening
