Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatments, and manage patient triage, education, and preventative care across the continuum. Assess patients, coordinate care plans, and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise as designated in the assigned clinical setting. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. This 12-hour night shift role at Bismarck Med Ctr requires a minimum of one year of RN experience and six months of travel experience, with a requirement to live at least 60 miles from the location. Contracts span 14 weeks with options to extend or relocate to other Sanford sites.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
