Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to patients using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan and coordinate care across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Perform patient education, triage, and various nursing interventions while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Work 36 hours weekly at Sanford Med Ctr Fargo in Fargo, ND. Requires an unencumbered RN license and preferred Bachelor's degree.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Pass a drug screen
- Pass pre-employment background screening
