Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on care plans, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage. Manage patients across the continuum of care including preventative health, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up while adhering to state licensure and the Nurse Practice Act. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards within the assigned clinical setting. Requires at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience, with a weekly schedule of 36 hours including 12-hour night shifts. Live at least 60 miles from Bismarck, ND. Contracts are 14 weeks with options to extend or move to other Sanford sites, with a stipend included in the weekly pay rate.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
