Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including patient assessment, triage, education, and coordination of care across all phases of the continuum. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan and evaluate treatment for patients in preventative care, health maintenance, and follow-up. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to state licensure standards and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards for the assigned clinical setting at Bismarck Med Ctr.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Obtain a drug screen
- Pass pre-employment background screening
