Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatments, and coordinate patient assessments, education, and triage across the continuum of care. Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Cares for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and follow-up while maintaining unencumbered RN licensure. Requires a Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred and AACN, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited program graduation. Weekly hours are 36.00 at Sanford Med Ctr Fargo with a starting rate of 2758.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Pass a drug screen
- Pass pre-employment background screening
