Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate patient assessment, triage, and education across all phases of preventative care, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan and evaluate care while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards within the assigned clinical setting at Bismarck Med Ctr. This 12-hour night shift requires at least one year of RN experience and six months of travel experience, with applicants living 60 miles from the location. Contracts are 14 weeks with weekly pay including stipend and eligibility for Sanford benefits.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Obtain a drug screen
- Pass pre-employment background screening
