Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to patients using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Coordinate care, conduct patient education, triage, and perform various nursing interventions while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Live at least 60 miles from Bemidji, MN, and work rotating 12-hour shifts totaling 36 weekly hours. This travel position offers 14-week contracts with an option to extend or move to another Sanford site, with a weekly pay rate of $3,262 including stipend.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
