Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation). Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Coordinate care, perform patient assessment, educate patients, and triage as required within the scope of nursing practice outlined in the Nurse Practice Act. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards for the assigned clinical setting at Bismarck Med Ctr. Requires at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience; live at least 60 miles from the location. Weekly 36-hour night shift with 14-week contract options.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
