Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to coordinate care, perform patient education, triage, and various nursing interventions within the full scope of nursing expertise. Manage patient care in Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborns (Level 1 and Level 2) settings while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Requires at least one year of experience, six months of travel experience, and living 60 miles from Worthington, MN. Weekend shifts include Friday through Sunday or night rotations from 7:00pm to 7:30am. Starting rate is $3010 weekly with a 14-week contract option to extend or move to another Sanford site.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Labor, Delivery, Postpartum and Newborns (Level 1 and Level 2) required
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
