Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and coordinate patient education and triage. Manage patient assessment, outcomes planning, and implementation across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and follow-up. Adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards while maintaining competency in age and population-specific clinical settings. Requires at least one year of experience and six months of travel experience; live 60 miles from Chamberlain, SD. Weekly pay of $3010 includes stipend; 14-week contract with extension options.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Accepts a drug screen
- Accepts pre-employment background screening
