Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on care plans, and coordinate patient education and triage. Manage patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up across the continuum of care while adhering to state practice acts and the Nurse Practice Act. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards within the assigned clinical setting at Bemidji Medical Center. Complete 12-hour rotating shifts totaling 36 hours weekly with a 14-week contract option.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
