Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians to plan and evaluate treatment, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage across the continuum of care. Manage patient interventions while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical standards within the assigned setting at Bemidji Medical Center. Requires at least one year of RN experience, six months of travel experience, and a Bachelor's degree preferred. Live at least 60 miles from the location. Contracts are 14 weeks with rotating 12-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
