Job Summary
Conduct individualized nursing care for patients using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care across the continuum of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Perform patient triage, education, and various nursing interventions while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Provide care in all phases of patient movement along the care continuum. This 12-hour night shift position at Bismarck Med Ctr requires a minimum of one year of RN experience and six months of travel experience. Candidates must live at least 60 miles from the location. Weekly pay includes a stipend, with 14-week contracts available.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
