Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to patients across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Collaborate with physicians to plan, implement, and evaluate care while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing expertise. Manage patient assessment, triage, patient education, and the coordination of care in compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. This role is based at Sanford Med Ctr Fargo in Fargo, ND, with weekly hours of 36.00 and a starting rate of 2758. Candidates must hold an unencumbered RN license and a Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
