Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborating with physicians to plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Manage patient assessment, triage, patient education, and various nursing interventions while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and age/population-specific standards designated in the Bemidji Medical Center clinical setting. Requires at least one year of experience, six months of travel experience, and living 60 miles from the location. Contracts are 14 weeks with rotating 12-hour shifts totaling 36 weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
