Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on care plans, and manage patient triage and education. Assess patients across the continuum of care from preventative measures to follow-up while adhering to state practice standards and the Nurse Practice Act. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical standards within the assigned setting. This 12-hour night shift position at Bismarck Med Ctr requires at least one year of RN experience and six months of travel experience. Candidates must live 60 miles from the location. Contracts are 14 weeks with weekly pay including stipends, and eligible staff receive Sanford benefits.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtain and subsequently maintain required department specific competencies and certifications
- Pass a drug screen
- Pass pre-employment background screening
