Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on care plans, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage. Manage patients across the continuum of care including preventative measures, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up while adhering to state practice acts and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise for assigned clinical settings. Requires at least one year of experience, six months of travel experience, and a Bachelor's degree preferred. Shifts are 12-hour night rotations totaling 36 hours weekly with a salary range of $3010-$3794. Live at least 60 miles from Bismarck, ND. Contracts are 14 weeks with options to extend or relocate to other Sanford sites.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
