Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to patients in Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborns units using the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate outcomes. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to coordinate care, manage triage, educate patients, and address preventative health needs. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing practice standards and the Nurse Practice Act. Requires at least one year of clinical experience and six months of travel experience. Weekend shifts include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday contracts or night rotations from 7:00pm to 7:30am. Starting rate is $3010 weekly with a 14-week contract option. Live within 60 miles of Worthington, MN.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Labor, Delivery, Postpartum and Newborns (Level 1 and Level 2) required
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
