Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on treatment plans, and manage patient triage, education, and follow-up across the continuum of care. Deliver assessments, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients in labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn units at Level 1 and Level 2 facilities. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing practice and adhere to state licensure and American Nurses Association standards. Requires one year of general nursing experience, six months of travel experience, and residence within 60 miles of Worthington, MN. Weekend shifts include Friday through Sunday rotations, with weekly pay starting at $3010 including stipend.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Labor, Delivery, Postpartum and Newborns (Level 1 and Level 2) required
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
