Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients across all phases of the continuum, including preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to coordinate care, manage triage, and provide patient education while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical standards within the assigned setting at Chamberlain Medical Center. Requires at least one year of general nursing experience and six months of travel experience, with a starting rate of $3010 weekly and a 14-week contract option.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
