Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on care plans, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage. Manage patient care across the continuum from preventative health to treatment and follow-up while adhering to state practice standards and the Nurse Practice Act. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards within the assigned clinical setting at Chamberlain Medical Center in Chamberlain, SD. Requires at least one year of RN experience and six months of travel experience, with a starting rate of $3010 and a rotating 36-hour weekly schedule. Contracts are 14 weeks with extension options.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
