Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on treatment plans, and coordinate patient assessment, education, and triage. Manage patients across the continuum of care, from preventative health to diagnosis and follow-up, while adhering to state licensure and the American Nurses Association standards. Maintain competency in age and population-specific clinical settings and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise. This 14-week rotating contract requires at least one year of RN experience and six months of travel experience. Candidates must live at least 60 miles from Chamberlain, SD, and hold an unencumbered RN license. Weekly pay includes a stipend, with the option to extend or move to another Sanford site.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience
- At least six months of travel experience
- Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
