Traveling Registered Dental Hygienist – Nursing Home Care

Job Summary
Provide on-site dental hygiene services in skilled nursing facilities, collaborating with the DDS and facility staff. Perform X-rays, cleanings, dentures and sealants, assess oral health, and report findings to the dentist. Enter treatment notes into Salesforce, maintain OSHA safety and sterilization standards, and manage equipment setup/teardown. Travel within a 3-hour radius with mileage reimbursement; part-time role (2 days/week) with some days spent working from home. Requires current RDH license, 5 years’ experience, valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 200 pounds. Strong customer service, communication, organization, and teamwork skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state in good standing
- 5 years’ experience
- Willing to travel within a 3-hour radius
- Must have own reliable transportation
- Ability to push/pull +/- 200 lbs.
- Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- High School Diploma or equivalent
