Job Summary
Inspect railcars for damage, wear, safety concerns, and serviceability; perform repairs, maintenance, welding, and required documentation. Lubricate components, apply stenciling, assist with railcar preparation, operate company vehicles, and maintain a clean work area while following all safety procedures. This non-entry-level role requires hands-on experience with railcar maintenance, stick welding, and 4G/5G welding skills, plus the ability to travel and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Candidates must possess strong mechanical aptitude, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to safe, quality work.
