Job Summary
Inspect railcars for damage, wear, safety concerns, and serviceability. Perform repairs, maintenance, welding, and required documentation. Lubricate components, apply stenciling, and assist with railcar preparation. Operate company vehicles and equipment as needed. Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety procedures. This non-entry-level role requires travel, strong mechanical ability, and welding experience including stick and 4G/5G techniques. Required Qualifications
- Railcar maintenance or railcar repair experience
- Welding experience, including stick welding
- Ability to travel and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Safe tool/equipment use
- Valid driver's license

- Ability to work as a self-starter
