Job Summary
Inspect railcars for damage, wear, safety concerns, and serviceability; perform repairs, maintenance, welding, and required documentation. Lubricate components, apply stenciling, and assist with railcar preparation while operating company vehicles and equipment. Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety procedures. This position requires travel and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Candidates must have railcar maintenance experience, welding skills including stick welding, and a valid driver's license. Required Qualifications
- Railcar maintenance or railcar repair experience
- Welding experience, including stick welding
