Job Summary
Inspect railcars for damage, wear, safety concerns, and serviceability; perform repairs, maintenance, welding, and required documentation. Lubricate components, apply stenciling, and assist with railcar preparation. Operate company vehicles and equipment as needed while maintaining a clean work area and following all safety procedures. This role requires travel and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Candidates must have railcar maintenance experience, strong welding skills including stick welding, and a valid driver's license. Required Qualifications
- Railcar maintenance or railcar repair experience
- Welding experience, including stick welding
- Ability to travel and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and safe tool/equipment use
- Valid driver's license
- Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work as a self-starter
Desired Qualifications
- 4G and 5G welding experience
