Traveling Preventative Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Perform routine preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, trucks, and support vehicles, including lubrication services, oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks per manufacturer specifications. Inspect equipment for wear, damage, leaks, or concerns, report findings to leadership, and assist with minor repairs and adjustments. Maintain accurate service documentation, ensure work complies with company policies, and keep service trucks, tools, and work areas clean. Travel throughout Missouri and surrounding states as needed for out-of-state projects. Must reside within 50–60 miles of Hannibal, MO, hold a Class A or B CDL, and possess 3+ years of experience with diesel engines and hydraulics. Required Qualifications
- Must possess or be willing to obtain a Class A or Class B CDL
- Must reside within approximately 50–60 miles of Hannibal, MO
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to travel throughout Missouri and surrounding states as needed
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience performing preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, trucks, agricultural equipment, or diesel powered equipment
- Previous experience as a lube technician, PM technician, fleet maintenance technician, or similar role
- Basic understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and heavy equipment components
- Strong attention to detail
