Job Summary
Set up and break down surgical equipment including membranes, IV sedation, perio lasers, dental implants, and bone grafting. Organize, maintain, and order all surgical supplies while managing CBCT, pano, and digital impression workflows. Perform perio charting, progress notes, and correspondence regarding patient letters. Communicate with patients for pre- and post-operative instructions. Travel between Mansfield and Dallas offices on alternating Mondays, Fridays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We provide on-the-job training for candidates with six months of dental assistant experience or recent graduation.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months or more years of dental assistant experience
- graduated from dental assistant school
- willing to learn
- team oriented
- willing to travel to Mansfield and Dallas offices
- Monday & Friday in Mansfield
- Tuesday & Thursday in Dallas
- Experience with set up and break down of surgical set ups
- Experience with set up and break down of membranes
- Experience with set up and break down of IV Sedation
- Experience with set up and break down of Perio Laser
- Experience with set up and break down of Dental implants
- Experience with set up and break down of Bone grafting
- Knowledge of taking a CBCT
- Knowledge of taking a Pano
- Knowledge of taking Digital Impressions
- Knowledge of Perio Charting
- Knowledge of progress notes
- Knowledge of letters
- Ability to communicate with patients for pre & post instructions
