Job Summary
Operate heavy construction equipment including skid steers, bulldozers, and excavators to complete assigned tasks on project sites. Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections, report mechanical issues, and maintain machines in clean, functional condition. Adhere to site safety policies, identify hazards, and use required PPE while supporting project teams in delivering quality results. This role requires 5–7 years of heavy equipment operation experience and proficiency in the specified machinery. Traveling Operator positions are based in Meridian, MS.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 5–7 years of heavy equipment operation experience
- Proficiency in operating skid steers, bulldozers, and excavators
- Knowledge of construction site safety practices and OSHA standards
- Ability to perform equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
