Job Summary
Perform obstetric and gynecological ultrasounds to assist physicians in making informed healthcare decisions while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Conduct vascular studies independently and utilize expertise in ABD certifications to support clinical outcomes. Work Monday through Friday with shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., including weekend on-call rotation and a weekly call requirement from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday. National ARDMS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International certification and two years of OB/GYN experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
- 2 years of experience as an OB/GYN Sonographer
- BLS certification
- OBGYN and ABD certifications
- Fluency in vascular studies
- Ability to work independently
- Weekend on-call rotation
- Call requirement includes 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. at least one day weekly Monday through Thursday
