Job Summary
Prepare and administer radioactive drugs while operating radiation detection and imaging equipment at a 495-bed hospital. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and respond to consults as part of a mobile imaging unit. Work days Monday through Friday in shifts ranging from 06:00 to 14:30, with alternate start times available, ensuring 36 weekly guaranteed hours. Maintain active VA state licensure, ARRT certification, and BLS (AHA only) certification. Experience with EPIC electronic medical records and mobile team operations is preferred. Located in Winchester, VA, near Shenandoah National Park and the Shenandoah Valley Wine Trail.
Required Qualifications
- An associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology
- VA state license or active status of VA license
- ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine
- BLS certification (AHA only)
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Dress code: Scrubs — Caribbean Blue
- Adherence to employer dress code policy
