Job Summary

Prepare and administer radioactive drugs while operating radiation detection and imaging equipment such as gamma cameras, SPECT, or PET systems. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to manage electronic medical record (EMR) systems and adhere to radiation safety procedures. This 13-week hospital assignment in Tucson, AZ, runs days from 0700-1530 for 40 hours per week. Candidates must hold a state license, an associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology, and two years of experience in an acute care setting. Full medical benefits, 401k matching, and 100% paid housing are included.

Required Qualifications

  • An associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology
  • State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine in the practicing state
  • BLS certification
  • 2 years' experience as a nuclear medicine technologist in a hospital or similar acute care setting
  • Experience preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and operating gamma cameras, SPECT, or PET imaging systems
  • Experience working with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and radiation safety procedures

Desired Qualifications

  • Certification by the NMTCB or ARRT(N) preferred
