Job Summary
Prepare and administer radioactive drugs while operating radiation detection and imaging equipment, including SPECT/planar nuclear medicine cameras. Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain required documentation. Float between two offices within the region as needed for this 13-week travel assignment. Requires an associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology, state licensure for Michigan, NMTCB certification, and at least two years of experience including cardiac imaging. BLS certification is required prior to start.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology
- State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine in the state of Michigan, or eligibility to obtain required state licensure
- Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification (NMTCB)
- Minimum 2 years' nuclear medicine technologist experience
- Cardiac imaging experience
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Ability to adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain required documentation
Desired Qualifications
- BLS (AHA) certification already current
