Job Summary
Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech responsible for preparing/administering radioactive drugs and operating imaging equipment; split between a main hospital campus in York, ME and an outpatient cardiology office in Portsmouth, NH with hours 7:30 am–4:00 pm, Monday–Friday; requires nuclear medicine degree, state license, BLS, 1+ year experience, and ability to commute between sites.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology
- State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine
- CNMT licensure preferred
- BLS certification
- 1+ years nuclear medicine experience
- Experience with IV insertion and safe handling/storage of radioactive materials
- Familiarity with ACA NM accreditation and state licensing requirements
- Strong documentation skills and ability to communicate with cardiologists and radiologists
