Job Summary
HVAC Field Service Technician with 100% regional/national travel. Responsibilities include system commissioning for commercial buildings (Air/Water Balance, IAQ testing, equipment start-up, QA testing), writing technical reports post-project, providing technical support to customers and contractors, and recommending service enhancements. Travel is 100%, intersection of onsite and field service across a national network; benefits include wellness, retirement, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and professional certification support. Ideal candidates have 1+ year HVAC experience, strong MS Office skills, and a customer-service mindset; NEBB/AABC/TABB/NBC certifications are a plus and Spanish bilingual ability is beneficial. Must be able to handle physical demands and maintain safety protocols; overtime and travel logistics are part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of HVAC experience required
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High emotional intelligence, positive attitude, and service leadership
- Must pass driving record check and rental car policy adherence
Desired Qualifications
- 100% travel
- NEBB, AABC, TABB & NBC certifications a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish) beneficial
- Experience with commissioning and TAB/Building Commissioning activities
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to write technical reports and provide technical support
