Job Summary
Traveling Millwright role responsible for traveling to customer sites to install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment. Requires extensive conveyor installation experience, strong mechanical background, problem-solving ability, and comfort working independently or in a team. Must be able to travel frequently overnight and on weekends, with overtime as necessary. Responsibilities include disassembling/moving/reassembling equipment, aligning/leveling machinery, diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems, reading blueprints/schematics/technical manuals, maintaining a safe work area, and performing work per safety regulations (OSHA, federal, state, local). Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and be willing to weld at heights and in tight spaces. Benefits include Health/Dental/Vision, retirement plan, PTO, and paid holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree preferred
- Current, valid driver's license with a safe driving history
- Minimum of 3 years experience; Journeyman Millwright certificate or equivalent preferred
- Ability to pass a standard weld test preferred
- Excellent ability to read and listen to assignments given in a variety of forms
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Rigging experience is a plus
- Ability to travel frequently overnight and on weekends
