Job Summary
Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide holistic nursing care in correctional facilities across assigned states. LPNs will work between various facilities per contract needs, with each assignment restricted to a single location. Responsibilities include delivering nursing care under the direction of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff to address physical and behavioral health needs of incarcerated patients. Requires active LPN license in the assigned state, and IV certification may be required for some programs. CPR/BLS certification is required. Prior corrections and travel-nursing experience are preferred. Ability to obtain a security clearance and pass required screenings is required. Required Qualifications
- Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in assigned state
- IV Certification is required in some programs
- Minimum of one year of LPN experience in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
- Corrections experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in CPR/BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check
