Job Summary
Sort clean and dirty linen into designated bins, pre-treat stains, and remove damaged items. Operate washers and dryers while monitoring detergent levels and performing daily machine maintenance. Fold and distribute clean linens to proper storage or unit bags, and assist in monthly linen inventories. Report maintenance issues to the manager, maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, and ensure a safe working environment. Work weekends and flexible shifts to meet quality and timeliness standards set by the Executive Housekeeper.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizens or work-authorized individuals only
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must be able to pass a background check
- High School Diploma
- Ability to read, write and do basic math
- Use of long term and short-term memory
- Ability to make decisions
- Planning and scheduling capabilities
- Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, pushing, pulling, moving, bending, reaching, occasional ascending/descending, and repetitive motions
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily
Desired Qualifications
- Hospitality, cleaning, or housekeeping experience preferred but not required
