Traveling Journeyman Electrician

Job Summary
Install electrical systems in commercial construction markets, supervise helper and apprentice electricians, and promote customer relations by determining needs and providing solutions. Apply basic electrical principles to solve design problems, complete work in accordance with NEC and local codes, and fulfill daily project commitments. Assist with loading materials, digging trenches, pulling wire through conduit, and treat all customers and trades personnel with dignity. Keep job sites clean, complete required paperwork, and hold others accountable to safety policies. Troubleshoot common electrical systems, plan installations to minimize waste, prepare sketches, measure conduit, and repair faulty equipment. Travel is a must.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
- 4 years' experience in electrical project installations.
- Applicant must have reliable transportation.
- Position requires electricians hand tools.
- Ability to work with hands, multi-task.
- Advanced electrical knowledge required.
- Valid state motor vehicle operator's license & clear driving record to meet Company policy.
- Applicable state certification.
- Travel is a must.
