Job Summary
Traveling Hygienist delivering comprehensive preventive and periodontal care across multiple Tend studios with a Team (Assisted) Hygiene model. Collaborate with a dental assistant and dentists to maximize chair time, manage sterilization and documentation, and drive hygiene production while providing same-day preventive care opportunities. Maintain strong patient relationships through education and clear communication, adapt to dynamic environments, and participate in CE opportunities and professional development. The role includes coverage for PTO/leaves, a predictable schedule with 32–40 hours/week, no Saturday requirement, and an hourly base pay with production bonus (avg top earners around $73/hour with bonus).
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current, active hygiene license in the state you’re applying for
- Current Anesthesia/Nitrous license in applicable state
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Comfort with digital charting and x-rays, intraoral cameras, and technology-driven care
