Job Summary
Traveling Hygienist delivers comprehensive preventive and periodontal care across Tend studios, collaborating with a dedicated dental assistant and dentists to optimize patient care and same-day treatment opportunities while adhering to evidence-based guidelines. Responsibilities include prophylaxis, SRP, sealants, whitening, cancer screenings, and use of digital tools; maintain strong patient relationships and participate in ongoing professional development within the Team (Assisted) Hygiene model. Requires degree from an accredited dental hygiene program, active hygiene license, anesthesia/nitrous license where applicable, CPR/BLS, and comfort with digital charting and imaging. This is a full-time role (32–40 hours/week) based in Brooklyn, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current, active hygiene license in the state you’re applying for
- Current Anesthesia/Nitrous license in applicable state
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Comfort with digital charting and x-rays, intraoral cameras, and technology-driven care
