Job Summary
Traveling Heavy Civil Project Manager responsible for managing budgets, schedules, submittals, RFIs, contracts, and purchase orders for heavy civil construction projects; coordinate with superintendent/operations manager, owners, and subcontractors; assemble and update job cost codes; review and approve subcontractor/supplier estimates and invoices; negotiate and coordinate all extra work orders and changes in project scope; monitor production and profit margins; prepare monthly cost/profit projections; must be willing and able to travel up to 100%.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- At least 5 years’ experience managing large commercial construction projects
- Must have strong organizational and relationship-building skills
- Must be able to travel up to 100%
