Job Summary
Traveling Fuel Technician Apprentices perform on-site calibration of fuel pumps, routine maintenance of dispensing systems, set up tools at job sites, document work with tablets, drive a company vehicle, and travel extensively across multiple states to service fuel-station equipment. This entry-level role offers paid training, overtime potential, and a structured two-year training program; candidates must hold a valid driver's license, be able to travel up to 85%, lift 10–50 lbs, pass a DOT physical and drug screen, and work independently.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel up to 85% of the time, including extended trips (3–4 weeks)
- Ability to lift 10–50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, standing)
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Basic proficiency with smartphones or tablets
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to undergo a background check
