Traveling Field Service Technician

Job Summary
Troubleshoot, install, and repair complex packaging and processing equipment at customer facilities, addressing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic system challenges. Conduct customer training on safe operations and parts ordering, then complete service documentation and submit trip expenses and weekly reports within 24 hours of job completion. This traveling position requires overnight stays most days and flexible scheduling, including weekends, to accommodate internal and external customer demands. Technicians will work in varied environments, including food processing and freezing conditions, with physical requirements to lift up to 50lbs and perform tasks involving stooping, kneeling, and crawling.
Required Qualifications

- troubleshoot large-scale, complex machinery mechanically, electrically, and operationally
- strong electrical and mechanical experience
- pneumatic and machine shop skills
- ability to respond and adjust to changing or new situations
- Must be able to travel with little notice
- Must be willing to work outside normal business hours, including some weekends as required
- Schedule needs to be flexible to accommodate internal and external customers' schedules
- Must be able to lift or move up to 50lbs
