Traveling Equipment Mechanic – Hydraulic & Heavy Machinery

Job Summary

Repair, maintain, and service all company and rental equipment including bucket trucks, cranes, dozers, and loaders while diagnosing trouble sources and determining necessary repairs. Operate hazardous tools like welders and grinders, work around moving equipment in constricted spaces, and maintain a clean work area following strict safety protocols. Possess your own mechanic hand tools while utilizing company-supplied diagnostic scanners and specialty tools. Maintain and operate a company-supplied service truck with a crane, electronically fill out workorders, order parts, keep time, and complete daily reports. Perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs under field supervisor support across job sites in the Mid-West, including Wyoming, Colorado, South Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska, and North Dakota.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid, Active Driver's License
  • Possess own mechanic hand tools
  • 3 to 5 years Aerial unit experience, Bucket Trucks, Diggers, Cranes
  • Possessing and supplying own mechanic hand tools
  • Valid, Active Driver's License Required
  • Your knowledge and experience to help grow our team
  • DOT physical
  • current DOT medical card

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge or Electrical Overhead Powerline Construction Equipment
  • Previous experience with Construction Equipment repair, Yellow Iron, Tracked Equipment
  • Tractor Trailer Chassis and engine experience
  • Valid, Active CDL A
  • All of these skills can be trained or taught for the right candidate, more experience preferred
