Job Summary
Traveling Electronic Security Systems Technician responsible for installing, repairing, testing, and maintaining security projects; represents Evergreen onsite and provides product training to customers; ensures safety by complying with State and Federal regulations; handles service orders and project administration; performs follow-up to ensure the client is ready for inspection; must travel extensively and possess a CPR/First Aid card, valid electrician certificate or trainee card, high school diploma or equivalent, and electrical wiring experience; strong communication skills for customer interactions; ability to call and schedule appointments, understand applicable codes, work autonomously and with others; valid driver’s license and minimum liability insurance; able to obtain a U.S. government clearance; preferred certifications include Lenel, DAQ Access Control/IDS, Milestone CCTV, Pelco CCTV, Monitor Dynamics, AMAG; benefits include paid time off, per diem, TSA Pre-Check, 401(k) with match, and comprehensive insurance options; employed as a US government contractor subject to government access requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CPR/First Aid card
- Valid electrician certificate or trainee card
- Electrical wiring experience
- Valid driver’s license and proof of minimum liability insurance
- Ability to travel extensively
- Ability to pass pre-employment and continuing random background, drug, and MVR screenings
