Job Summary
Traveling Electrician needed for commercial electrical remodel projects across Pineville, LA with 2–3 week sprint cycles. Responsibilities include advanced electrical theory, NEC code knowledge and calculations, reading blueprints/schematics, installing raceways, boxes, and cables, assisting with wire pulling, installing light fixtures, devices, switchboards, panels, breakers, transformers, and terminations, testing and troubleshooting electrical systems, and familiarity with control systems. Requires 4000+ hours of electrician experience, a high school diploma or GED, OSHA 10, a valid driver’s license, and a current state Electrical Apprentice license. Travel is paid with per diem, mileage, and Airbnb housing; typical travel pattern involves 2–3 week sprints with travel back home every 3 weeks. Job Type is Full-Time with potential for overtime. Housing and per diem are provided while traveling.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Formal trade school or apprentice program completion preferred
- 4000+ Hours of electrician experience
- Valid state issued Driver’s License
- Current state Electrical Apprentice license
- Current OSHA 10 certificate
