Job Summary
Traveling Electrician responsible for installing control panels in large-scale distribution centers nationwide; perform conduit work, 480V wiring, and industrial controls/automation, including PLC panels and I/O wiring. Earns $30-50/hour with OT, hotel provided, vehicle and $45/day per diem. Average 72+ hours per week, 6-8 weeks on the road per trip, with initial training in 2-3 weeks and additional team training/deployments over the coming months. Benefits available after 30 days. OSHA-oriented safety protocols emphasized; OSHA 10 or 30 preferred; Yellow Badge a bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to run/bend conduit, pull, and terminate 480-volt wire to equipment, in an industrial and/or large commercial setting
- Knowledge of LOTO standards, service work, and voltage drop
- Experience with scissor, boom, and bucket lifts
- OSHA 10 or 30 preferred, Previous Yellow Badge a bonus
- Experience with industrial controls/automation, PLCs panels and I/O wiring
